Operational Management

COMMERCIAL

Vertiq Hospitality Partners has assembled an impressive, multi-national Commercial team, accountable for driving exceptional performance for all our hotels and investors across Europe. The team provides best-in-class analysis, insights, and strategic guidance to ensure every Vertiq hotel is positioned to achieve market-leading top- and bottom-line results.

 

Every hotel is supported by Vertiq’s dedicated Analytics and Revenue Management function, a highly experienced, specialist team, whose mission is to maximise sustainable revenues into hotels, which translate into the highest net yields. With a central focus on market share growth, the team deliver a programme of guest acquisition at the lowest customer acquisition cost.

 

Vertiq’s sales team partners with our on-property teams to develop and deliver best-in-class sales strategies, tailored to a hotel’s unique location and key business drivers. Additionally, they support the recruitment and development of on-property sales talent, and drive revenue-generating, cross-sell programmes.

 

Vertiq’s marketing team is a distinctive capability, operating at the cutting-edge of digital marketing practices. Their work encompasses the positioning and profiling of Vertiq’s hotels, online and through traditional channels, as well as making a measurable, commercial impact through paid digital campaigns and tactics.

 

In addition to partnering with international brands, the team are accomplished at developed and delivering independent brands – from brand identity & visual creation to the design of online channels including web, social and e-commerce & distribution partners, the Vertiq Marketing team maximise net revenue delivery for independent properties.

Operational Excellence

The Vertiq operations team comprises senior hoteliers with pan-European and deep-market experience, responsible for leading and developing our on-property team members, assisted by our People & Culture team.

 

The team has a track-record for delivering outstanding guest satisfaction scores, with Vertiq’s hotels regularly topping OTA and brand rankings. Innovations in technology and service enable Vertiq’s hotels to deliver outstanding margin performance without compromising our commitment to operational excellence.

 

Our regional Operations VPs are each supported by dedicated Revenue, P&C and Finance leaders, driving performance delivery in each country, through hands-on oversight and a truly owner-centric approach.  Our owners have access to real time hotel data via the Vertiq’s custom Business Intelligence reporting portal.

 

Our partners benefit from the combined experience and professionalism of Vertiq’s in-house transition team, who work with owners to ensure successful portfolio transitions and resulting ROI upon investment.

Property

The Vertiq property team has delivered 30 new-build hotels across eight countries, providing full-scale design and construction assistance. The team has also partnered on more than a dozen hotel re-brandings, supporting our investment partners with the brand selection process.

 

During each property’s life cycle, our team provide offensive & defensive CAPEX plans. Our exceptional knowledge and expertise within FFE/OSE purchasing and procurement from planning to opening stage, ensure optimal asset ROI for our partners.

Finance & Accounting

The Vertiq team operate across eight jurisdictions and local regulations, delivering multi-national team experience to our hotel teams & owners.

 

Our proprietary business intelligence platform, developed in partnership with SAP Analytics, enables our hotel teams and owners to access to in-the-moment business analytics, benchmarking and reporting to identify efficiencies and enable rapid decision making.  Our finance team provides reporting from single entity to portfolio level, to support consolidation of our owners’ businesses.

Procurement

With many years of experience, our team ensure our hotels are supplied with a high-quality and consistent range of equipment and supplies at the lowest available cost.

 

Due to its scale and multinational aspect, Vertiq has access to variety of purchasing platforms for each of our operating regions.

 

The Procurement task team works closely with the GMs, HODs and the finance team to constantly evaluate pricing and volume in order to provide the best value to our hotels.
